This is acoustic music at its finest—a charming and energetic blend of Hot Jazz, Modern Jazz, and even Pop. Their repertoire includes songs by Django, the Beatles, Madonna, and original compositions that set their 16 strings on fire.
Sven Jungbeck (guitar) founded the trio in 2020 alongside Fredi Gebhardt (guitar) and Volker Kamp (bass). His journey into Gypsy Jazz began in 2010, when he opened for British star guitarist Robin Nolan in Poland with his quintet. Since 2015, he’s toured internationally with the Joscho Stephan Trio, also featuring Kamp, and gained a strong following through his YouTube channel with 31,000 subscribers—one of the top four in the Gypsy Jazz scene.
In 2022, Jungbeck released the CD Invites, collaborating with Gypsy Jazz greats like Robin Nolan, Paulus Schäfer, Olli Soikelli, Wawau Adler, and the legendary Jimmy Rosenberg—who once played with Stéphane Grappelli as a child.
